If you can get your hands on some Perform 'N Win (distributed by Buckeye
Feeds), you can probably get both water and electrolytes into your horse.
Most, though not absolutely all, horses love a bucket of PNW and water -- my
gelding just slurps it down. According to the link from www.runningbear.com
for detailed info on PNW, Gayle Ecker (see
http://www.horsestudies.com/instructor.htm#gayle if you don't know who she
is) says that if you use enough water you can't overdose on PNW.
