Ridecamp: [RC] Clip Your Posts / Guests are Good / Subject Lines are Important

Could we consider clipping the messages that we are replying to in an effort
to reduce the volume?  Leave a key sentence if you must, but avoid inclusion
of the entire message in your reply post.  If you missed the original post
you can go to the archives.  See SUBJECT LINE, below.

Guests:  some folks don't subscribe because wading through the debris to
pick up a few gems is tedious.  See CLIP YOUR MESSAGES, above.  Guests use
the archives.  See SUBJECT LINE, below.  I delete half of my digests because
I don't have the patience to read them.  I don't know how non-digest
subscribers can keep up.

Please be aware that your SUBJECT LINE affects the search feature of the
archives.  If you don't know what this means try a few searches and you will
understand.
