Seriously, only thing that really works is keeping the horses in the barn
during the day, the big black ones are the ones I'm thinking you are talking
about?
Some fly sprays may work for awhile (as in a few minutes), but nothing
really lasts much.
There is a company that puts out full body amour for the horse (Cashel).
