Ridecamp: [RC] Long X ride last weekend

Quick note of thanks to Jutta and DeAnne for managing the Long X ride
this year. I really enjoyed getting to ride it this year and not having
to deal with all the paperwork and so on. As usual I don't recall very
many placement details.  Michelle from Manitoba won the 50 on saturday,
Allen Voeller got BC I believe and Jessica was 1st jr.  Angie Orr won
the LD BC on sat.  Jerry Fruth came from Indiana and rode the 50 -He
does have the biggest truck I've seen at a ridecamp - I think its a
full-size semi tractor, not one of the scaled down semi's that one sees
pulling big horse trailer/living quarters fairly often.  

Sunday I rode the run ride on my 5 yr old 'greenie.'  I'd thought about
doing the LD on her, but she acted quite green on friday when I was
helping mark some trail, so I thought it would be better for the
longterm to just ride the fun ride and do more mental training with her
and that went well.  We were actually able to pack up and get to my
sisters place in Bowamn with good daylight left to unpack on Sunday
which was really nice, but it means we weren't around to hear the sunday
ride results.
