Re: [RC] MSN, again - Truman Prevatt
In a time long ago and far away, I had a subscription to "Outside"
magazine. In fact I think I was a charter subscriber to Outside. It
started out good, but got bad so I decided not to renew my subscription.
They kept sending me renewal notices that I threw away. After about a
year of getting it after the subscription expired, they send me a
"present" along with a specal offer for "valued customers" for half
price newal. The present was a Swiss Army kniff with "Outside" on it. I
didn't renew and kept getting the mag for about two years.
They then send me a nasty letter demanding payment for back issues. I
just sent them the name of a lawyer friend - and of course he never
heard from them. I still have the knife.
