Come on up, Howard & family, Georgia is ready for y'all, and anyone else who plans to come to our annual Georgia Endurance Riders Assoc. ride at Dawson Forest. I just got back from putting out the first set of directional signs off Hwy 400 to Dawson Forest, so you won't get lost coming in.
Yes, it's going to be hot, this is the deep south in August, but the woods trails are shady, the Etowah River and Shoal Creek are in fine shape for crossing, and we'll have plenty of water in camp again this year, compliments of our wonderful friends at the Dawson County Fire Station on Dawson Forest Rd.
Ride mgr. Ann Cofield and ride sec. Susie Schmoll have been busy getting everything ready, and the GERA board has been working hard, too. Don't forget mosquito repellent for you and bug spray for your horses. See y'all there,
