[RC] Seeking a Retirement Place for Our Dear Girl - Ridecamp Guest

My daughter's 27 year old mare,Brusally Zbruarna ("Bruey"), is ready for retirement. She's still an energetic, reliable good ride--we took her on a camping trip over July 4 to Pt. Reyes and she handily enjoyed the 18 mile RT to the beach and was on the go all weekend. She's small with an easy, gentle temperament. It's just that the daughter is at that age where the horse loses importance and the horse is of an age where we want to guarantee her last days in comfort and relaxation. Does anyone have ideas as to where we could take her (from East Bay, Norcal) and pay a small monthly fee to guarantee her health and well being?
