I absolutely agree. The
purpose of my becoming suddenly so vocal in this particular issue is that
rider apathy is also to blame. I was also disinterested in the politics, "Just
want ride my horse" But all the members need to take more notice, and voice
their likes and dislikes. I think if the voter turn out was better, and there
was more discussion, and involvement by the members these big uproars and such
hard feelings would not happen. Annie G.

think it is time to interject that these directors & people who are
making the decisions were not born into the job, nor appointed for life.
They were put in those positions by the riders in their region. (Or
membership at large.) If you don't like the job they're doing, vote them
out. If you don't like a ride manager's rides, don't support them. But
be prepared to do the job yourself, or find someone you approve of to do
it.
