In response to Kay Mathews note on the Bylaws(attached) and
what changed - see the AERC web page.
It contains side-by-side comparisons of the old and the new
bylaws with explanations concerning some of the major
differences linked.

http://www.aerc.org/bylaws/frameBylaws.html
The "endorsements" on page 10 contained 11 statements by
Board members with 10 of 11 requesting that you support the
new bylaws and vote yes. One strongly encourages you to read
and vote.
In addition - both John Parke and Barney Fleming - in
separate sections also endorse the new bylaws.

Original Note from RC from Kay Mathews
Anybody get their EN yet? I'm confused about the new by
laws thing. I've never seen endorsements for a by law change
before. Are they re-writing all of the thing or just
changing a few items to conform to Calif. law. and three
additions or what? Even the endorsements seem
"luke-warmish"-- three out of four seem to just say - read
it and think-- not really an endorsement . Why do by-laws
need endorsement statements? What's changing? Also, what's
up with the protest for ROC? My lawyer-language is rusty
(non existent), but it seems to say because no one wanted to
answer, the protest by default gets a "NO"? I hope she
gets her money back. Is this where we start talking about
conflict of interest? k
