I've foamed EZ boots on for a week at a time. Some
have gone 2 weeks. However, these are on rides. I
don't know if that makes any difference, but it could.
My horses' feet stink when I take the boots off after
several days. Of course, MY feet stink too after just
a day (personal issues, I know). I'd suggest foaming
them on to keep excessive moisture and rocks out. I'd
first spray his feet with a sole paint to keep thrush
at bay and let that dry. Then I foam the boots on and
change them every week.
OK...there's my .02.
