Re: [RC] potato - Susan Young Casey
Speaking of almost being run over...! (I guess we ALL
have these stories.)
I was off walking down a VERY steep trail. I was
swatting at my green horse to "get off me"; his nose
was on the top of my helmet and he was stepping on my
heels. I turn to whop him one then noticed WHY is was
on me; another rider was on his rear!
Same trail, steeper part:
A fellow asks me to "stop" to let them pass!
Surprisingly, I only said, "no" because it's too
dangerous for me to stop. He said, "Oh, I though you
could stop right there."
Duh!
I'm sure I've been rude on trail before. Law of
averages says we all have our moments and in 20 years
of endurance, I've had mine. However, I hope not to
do such STUPID and THOUGHTLESS acts or make a habit of
making others upset.
I have yet to win anything that is more valuable than
my reputation.
