I have an issue with the mentality of show fit.  My daughter 
rides a POA that also has been used for endurance 25's 30's and
his owner keeps him and an about perfect weight for his size.

He can out last the other ponies and copes well in the heat, but the judges place him low because he doesn't look like your typical q-horse frame.
