     * Santiam Cascade(NW Region) August 10 has been 
canceled due to fire danger.
     *  Sierra Valley Ride (W Region) August 24-25  is now 
limited to 60 riders per Forestry requirements.  Contact

     * Cottonwood Creek Ride MT region Aug. 3 canceled.  As 
a result of the extreme drought conditions and high fire 
danger here in Wyoming - the ride is canceled. All of the 
natural water sources as well as two stock wells are dry and 
the landowner has asked that the ride not be held. He is 
concerned about sharing the little water that exists and it 
is also virtually impossible to haul water into most places 
were it would be needed. Temperatures here have been in the 
high 90"s to 100's for the entire month of July and there is 
no sign of it letting up.
