After having the pleasure of riding with Karen and "Mickey" (forgive me Karen if I spelled his name wrong) it is so hard to imagine the horse he was before Karen got him. It just shows what patience and a gentle touch can do! As you say Kathy, even as a trail horse, he will be great. He's 6 years old, registered Arab, out of Huckleberry Bey lines. He did have some issues mainly from lack of handling. He was completely unbroke & recently gelded. Karen is not a professional trainer, but does have a great deal of patience & kindness. If all goes well, Karen plans on doing an LD in the near future. She has worked miracles with this horse, and he is happy & healthy. Before she got him, his future was bleak. If he doesn't work out for endurance, he's going to be a great trail horse for someone. Good job Karen Sweaney!
