The hospital where I work uses something called Dakin's Solution to clean
bedsores and then we soak gauze with it and pack it into the open wound.
Dakin's is a bleach solution by a nicer name. I definitely wouldn't put it
in my eye, but it works wonders for the bedsores that just don't want to
heal.
