[RC] Tevis Pull codes and Oso Denmark's DNS - Lucy C Trumbull
OK, I've been doing some house-keeping this morning and
trying to tidy up the "Pulls" page.
I've put a legend there to explain the pull reasons -
most of them are quite straightforward.
With regard to Marilyn McCoy's "PNP" - I don't have the
original sheet it was taken from, so I did a bit of pondering
and guess work and looking at the sheets the radio guys were
working from, I'm thinking it was perhaps supposed to be
"Pull Voluntary = PV" and that the handwriting was difficult
to read and PV looked like PNP. So I've changed her to RO.
I must stress that all the pulls - location and reason - are
completely unofficial. I'm assuming the *official* tevis web page:
http://www.foothill.net/tevis/ will show the pulls eventually.
Hope this clears things up.
(and next year I'll ask if we can include "RTSTC" (rider
too stupid to continue). Don't know if we'll get any takers,
however <g>).

One other thing. I got a note from the Brunos regarding
Oso Denmark's "DNS".
Apparently the night before, he managed to get a lead rope
stuck under his back shoe while scratching his ear.
They got him "un-hog-tied", but he spooked from the trailing
lead rope (still stuck to his foot) and took off around camp,
with Carl on the back of a passing dirt-bike in hot pursuit.
The horse was eventually recaptured and had some minor
lacerations from the snap end of the rope that was whipping
around. They opted not to start because they weren't 100% sure
of him.
Gah! What a nightmare thing to have happen on *that* evening
of all evenings. Commiseration to them.
