Ridecamp: [RC] [RC] Tevis 2002 Comment - Haggin Cup

Cute story:

After the awards I was walking away from the stage
where the cups were sitting and two young girls came
running up excitedly to look at them.

As well as the Tevis and Haggin Cups, there is also the
"Josephine Scripps Award" which goes to the finishing
juniors for that year.

These two girls were recipients of the award the previous
year and were looking for their names engraved on plaques
on the side. 

They were SO thrilled when they found them. Photos of the 
cup, the girls and the lil' plaques were taken. To them,
it will be a great memory for the rest of their lives.
