Hi All you Washington, Oregon Riders,
     I need a little help with directions to Glenwood Wa.  In looking at a Rand McNally map, it looks like there is a road from Goldendale, Wa to Glenwood, but I am not sure if it is a good road to travel.
     I am coming from Missoula, Mt and will be coming west.  Would it be better to cross the river to I84 or stay on the Washington side on 14.  The instructions in the PNER news letter say to go to Hood River then go north then back track east to Glenwood.
     So I was wondering if we could save some miles by turning off 14 on to 97 north to Goldendale then taking 142 west and turning off on to ????? (help me with the name of the road)to get to Glenwood.
     Or if this mystery road is not a good one to be hauling a horse on should I stay with the original directions through Hood River.
     All us Montana Riders would be greatful for your help.
