It should also be noted that the Sunday, July 21, edition of Auburn Journal ran a huge photo of rider Barry Waitte and his horse, Gulastra's Streak, jogging into Robinson Flat under the
headline "On the Tevis trail."  The Sports section of that same edition ran a similar-size photo of Potato crossing the finish line.  I don't know what the paper's copy deadline is, but they
may have been holding space for a Tevis finish story!
