Is anyone who lives in the Northwest using this supplement? A few months ago
it was brought to my attention by a fellow horseperson that it is something
I HAVE to use. I called my vet and asked about it, he said it isn't
necessary and the only thing that the ponies need is a selenium salt block
in the pasture that they can lick as they so desire, which I have. But this
supplement was brought up again by a vet at a ride recently, who said that
this area is SO deficient in selenium that the horses would have to eat
chuncks of a salt block every day to ever get enough and we should try this
stuff.
Just wondering if anyone else is using this or other selenium supplements
and how do you know if you really need to? Here is the guaranteed analysis
