    Hi sandy, its michelle schifman!

    Well, my opinion is that it depends on what you want to do. If you want to compete at a fast pace, you might want to go for one of the older horses. But if you want to go slower and take it easy you might want to ride your young one SO HE gets expirence but it won't hurt him cause you are going slow. So I think it depends on just what you really want to do.
