[RC] GPS - Calling Monte Mitts! - Jerry & Susan Milam

    >From what I've heard, GPS are not all that accurate especially if there are
trees in the way. Even on open road, the signals the satellite
receives/sends are intermittent at specific timed intervals, so if you have
any curves at all or if the satellite doesn't pick up a change of direction
for a bit of time, the GPS draws a line from the last point received to the
next time it receives the signal. I don't know what those timed intervals
    are, maybe 4-5 seconds; I don't know.

GPS are good for some applications, but I don't think from what I've been
told it's very accurate. Monte Mitts is a great one to explain how it works
    and doesn't work.

Hey Monte! Care to chime in guy?

    Happy Tails,

    Susan & Fly Bye
