You are the exception then. Some people take notice and may ask questions
about angles and toe length and have some idea what works best for their
horses. Most don't. I am not against people learning how to do some
maintenance and upkeep but you are right...one bad trim, well intentioned or
not, can ruin a horse for a long time and I just won't advocate ever that
owners should start trimming their own horses because it's so easy. We have
even had some want Nelson to "teach" them how to do it themselves. It is
usually not too long before he is going back to "fix" their work and set
them up on a regular schedule.
