Ridecamp: Re: [RC] New eyes watching

Thanks Tammy!  I completely agree with the "very few" comment and maybe 
should have pointed that out in my e-mail.  The "few" obnoxious riders is 
what you remember, not the very pleasant, caring and well-trained newbies.  
There was actually one rider that I had met up with on trail.  He decided to 
ride with me for a bit but when we reached the first water spot, he continued 
on when I decided to wait for a while longer.  I met up with him again at the 
vet check and the first thing he said to me was "I should've stayed with 
you."  I asked why out of concern and he mentioned to me that he had been 
pulled for metallic reasons.  This was very upsetting to me.  It doesn't mean 
that he wouldn't have been pulled anyway had he stayed with me but I do know 
that I have been trained properly by YOU and everyone at Trailrite on how to 
do my best to avoid these situations.
