I've noticed a trend in my horse
Saint. All the way out on a ride he looks back over his shoulder and tries to
turn around. When I turn around he speeds up. Not to a very noticeable
degree, but he does it and no longer looks behind him self. Today I took a lot
of loops and turns, when I turned around back towards home he thought we were
going away and walked looking behind him and trying to turn around when I let
him itch. Why does he do this and what can I do about it? He does not just look
back over one shoulder. If I correct him one way he will revert to looking over
the other shoulder, and I'm afraid this is not good for his muscle
development.
