I thought it was too, but it seems ok for endurance, which is one of the
reasons why I am pursuing Endurance rather than CTR.
I lost one point at my first CTR because my Icelandic was 10/11 (wasn't even
an inversion!). IT was the only point lost the whole day..in fact my horse
had the second highest score that day. Vet said my horse was in great
shape...it is just the way he breathes.
Sooo...endurance is not as picky with resps. (I hear) and I am glad or I
would not be able to compete.
The Icelandic I am training now breathes the same way...but his pulse is low
and skin is cool.
How do you diagnose an inversion that indicates a problem instead of
determining this is just the way a horse breathes?
