Re: [RC] Less controversial topic? Human hydration! - Linda Flemmer
We started riding with the Camelbak waist pack - works
great! I dodn't like the water on my back either.
We're using FlashFlos. They hold enough for a 12-15
mile loop with refills at vet checks. For longer
rides, there are larger waist packs. My experience
with the bigger water waist packs were that they were
too bulky. The bottom tneded to rub on my saddle's
cantle.
The camelbak works far beter for cyclists where the
water rests on top of their backs as they lean over
handlebars versus the equestrian who sits up right and
carries the water on the shoulder straps.
