    It was HOT!!!
    About 15-20 minutes after the 50's left, a horse bolted, a rider was thrown and a helicopter came to take her out.
    The 30's were held back an hour because of this and unfortunately missed most of the cool of the morning.
    Lots of pulls for metabolic reasons rather than for lameness.
    Suzie Kelley came in first on the 50.

    I was at the first vet check doing P & R's and taking temps.   
    I repeat!  It was HOT!!!!
    Sadly, there were idiots.......   >sigh<
