    Some people judge their importance by the speed of their horses, some by the
    amount of money they make, some by the cost and prestige of their cars.
    Everyone is different.  You just ride your ride the way you want, get out of
    endurance riding what you want to get out of it.  That's the beauty of this
    sport; it offers different things to different people.  Smell the flowers,
    look at the scenery, feel the wind in your hair or through the slits in your
    helmet, as the case may be, listen to the birds, watch for wildlife, feel
    your horse's rhythm beneath the saddle.  Enjoy!
