You know, it must be living in California, or something.  I saw 
nothing that bothered me other than the references to deities that I 
considered offensive.  I just used my DELETE keystroke shortcut--you 
know--just skimming the header and the first few sentences to decide 
whether individual posts are worthy subject material or not.

Angie, this is a barely moderated list.  Moderated lists have one or 
two people controlling the posts, even deleting ones before they hit 
the list in some instances. Most of those are in professional areas, 
IOW, the moderator has some financial consideration for *working* on 
it.  Ridecamp is barely-moderated in that a nudge back in the right 
direction is given by Steph or John when deemed necessary.

We all delete the posts about looking for rides for horses, riding 
partners, etc. when they're not in our geographic area--why is this 
so much different?

Can't remember when you last picked up any useful information--"just 
some really crazy stuff from crazy people who are taking over"--I'm 
appalled at this, tarring everyone with the same brush.  OR maybe 
you're just way too experienced for me, and aren't into learning new 
stuff anymore or reading someone else's POV.  Let's see, I'm going to 
look at the most recent posts that I've saved from ridecamp.

I'm only going back a bit over a week!  The rest I just dumped.

Sure, the calendar stuff was fluff, no doubt.  Some lightweight 
innuendo.  Sure didn't get my panties in a twist.

I'm sorry you unsubscribed, Angie.  I know it's not the first time. 
I've enjoyed your stories and humor, usually coming in together.

Many people don't stop to consider that this e-list goes to over 1000 
people, all over the world--I know I do.  <s>
