I had something really weird (well to me it was) happen while returning
from
a trail ride this weekend and was wondering if this is normal behavior and
I
should just get used to it.
We had pulled into a truck stop for breakfast and while eating this strange
man approached our table and asked if the grey horse in the trailer was
ours. I said yes, she's mine. He then asked if she was for sale...my
response was almost an instantaneous NO. He asked what she did and said if
I changed my mind he'd sure be interested.
Don't be too shocked. I've been waived down when I was riding on the road
and asked if my horse was for sale. I've also had people come banging on my
door asking if any of my horses were for sale (sold one weanling that way).
Be flattered he liked your mare. :-)
