The book you are referring to is "Getting in TTouch". I have just read the book and if all she says is true, then my mare would be the nicest, most willing and intelligent horse going. Unfortunately that isn't the case.(tho' I was told by the people who raised her that they were at fault for her spoiled behavior now because she was so kind and willing as a young horse.) I haven't tried the theory on my gelding, yet. If nothing else, it proves for interesting reading, and will get you out there inspecting your horse a bit more closely.<g>

whorls/personality traits by Linda Tellington-Jones. Anyone have it or know
how to get ahold of it?
I read it a long time ago but can't remember all the details.
