Ridecamp: [RC] dear friend passing......

Many endurance riders came to know and love "Turtle"... Linda Howard's dear
mother and best friend... after a very courageous battle with cancer Turtle
died this morning with Linda and family at her side.

Turtle will always be remembered for her support and love of endurance
riding and always helping out with P&R's, timing and  crewing for the Outlaw
Trail, the XP rides and so many Mountain and SW region rides.

Her memorial will be this coming Saturday.  Think of her as you would all
those dear to us in our lives and those who have become special to us in
endurance.

The Outlaw Trail will again dedicate our 265 mile adventure to one of the
most enduring, kind and lovely ladies of our sport.
