[RC] Whorls old coyboy myth... - Ridecamp Guest

A old coyboy myth is the whorl on the face of the horse. It is said that if the spiral of the hair is above the eyes the horse will "tend" to be a more excitable, nervous, high strung horse. If the spiral of hair is just between the eyes the horse will be rather "steady" they will tend not to get to excited, etc. It is said that if the spirals are lower then eyes the horse will tend to more laid back, lazy and somewhat more "testy" or "stubborn". The myth goes on to say that if these spirals of hair are found twice, side by side or on top of the other, the horse will be twice as likley to have these traits. The perfect place they thought would be to find the spiral of hair located in the center of the forehead with the spiral located towards the bottom of the eye. Now I bet everyone will run out and pull the forelock out of the way to see where their horses spirals are. It would be fun to see how many tend to be true.
