Here's a dog handlers tip on whitening hair (use on tear stains around
dogs eyes, carefully). I've used it on my white mane and tails with alot of
sucess too.
Mix 1 part peroxide and 1 part Milk of Magnesia
Mix corn starch in with this until it is getting thick but still wet
Pack this mixture in the dirty area overnight
I then wrap the tail with saran wrap or put it in a baggie and tape it
up to keep it in there.
Rinse it out the next day. I repeat if I want it whiter.
I don't claim to know why the combination works... but was given the
recipe by an older handler, and have used it for years.
