Hi ridecampers,
The lost sleep was worth it; born 1:30 am, a black colt, from my bay mare
Aheco (Old TravlersRest-like Wendell Robie's horses x Polish) sired by A
Sentry, pure polish (shameless, I know, but see his pix in classified).
Lots of bone, beautiful shoulder...sorry, already sold. Buyer with
digital camera will take pics next week, so will have them available if
anyone would like to take a peek.. Blacks are born a funny, mousey color,
difficult to describe. Mare is related to Rowel, the horse that is
honored by AERC "Jim Jones Most Miles Stallion Award". Rowel was black,
and Jim Jones, Kerry Ridgeway and Joe Hampton rode 1/2 brothers to Rowel.
I am pretty sleepy, and pretty smelly so I'll go take care of those
minor problems; just wanted to share my good news---always such a
miracle--the birth of a baby. Renie
