Amber- what state are you in?? Don't give up
on the Humane Society yet. I was the Ex. Dir. and Cruelty Investigator for
an SPCA here in NY for several years- I have contacts with organizations all
over the US. Email me and let me help. I was the investigator on the
biggest puppy mill case in NYS, and several large horse cases (and have the
scars on my heart to prove it). My husband, a vet, has just gotten back
from the second week of the National Cruelty Investigation School (I went there
also) Let's see what we can do.
