Gee lets get the violins out. The hospital staff didn't want to play
endurance ride. That girl was obviously incredibly rude, and thought it
was really funny that she was that way. She clearly didn't know that what
the hospital staff was doing was entirely appropriate. Hell, I woulda
started the IV in her foot.
I didn't get an IV, she was just drawing blood. Why not take it from
somewhere that would hurt less than the top of the hand? She actually
agreed with me, she just didn't want to ruin my shirt. She didn't know that
the other sleeve had already been cut off.
We do that too, when someone has damaged upper extremities. Why would
"Nurse Rachett" be so slow in giving a pain shot?
The doctor who was not in the clinic at the time so we had to wait for him
to arrive, that is why it took so long to get it. I had been completely
evaluated by then, for some time. They all felt really bad for me but
there was not much they could do.
Don't get so uptight, we were all getting along just fine with the staff at
the hospital, laughing and having a good time, if you could call that a
good time. I can assure you that they did not think that I was rude.
