All that makes sense, but you referred to "adrenaline junkies" (roughly, I've lost the post) and being addicted to the inherent dangers in dressage. I don't find stressing my horses joints to be very adrenaline inducing. I can see how maybe your boy, Toc, could induce some adrenaline! But I'm not sure this explains why other dressage riders are addicted to the "adrenaline".
Sylvia (I find watching a dressage show about as exciting as watching paint dry, so I'm really perplexed by your adrenaline/inherent danger comment <g>).
