I get indictable Glucosamine from my vet for $65 for 10 1-cc doses. I just found out that she has it for less money than I was sending away for.

 I'm starting my boy on 1 dose for 4 weeks, and then 5 cc dose for 3 weeks, to help a stiff hip joint (she's my Chiro), as a loading dose.  Her take on it was if you don't have problems, and don't ride hard, use the oral, if you ride hard and don't have problems use indictable 10cc per month.  If you have problems give a loading dose outlined above, then use either according to how hard you are going to ride your horse, meaning endurance, dressage, cutting, etc., are hard on the horse.  Trail riding, a few lessons, etc., are not.
