There IS money already in this sport. The IAHA
Sweepstakes program for both Endurance and Competitive Trail. I've seen people
RACE for 30th place and a trinket. Its the inherant value that money
equates that is bad to most. This is a touchy subject and my first ride
had a purse of 50k in 1976 which would equate to probably 100k now. The
bills have to be paid and when you rise to the top you either have to be endowed
or figure a way to pay the bills. nothin in life is for free...tom
