Sorry about the gaf on Saddlebreds.  This is a little know fact about 
Standardbreds and Saddlebreds, that may be of interest to those of you who 
would want to ride other than Arabs.  Up until the turn of the century (19th 
to 20th), there was no differentiation between Standardbreds and 
Saddlebreds; they were considered the same breed.  Saddlebreds were for 
riding and showing, Standardbreds were for racing.  Not until the turn of 
the century were different breed registries set up.  So the liniage of both 
breeds are the same.
