Wow! Been there, done that. I've seen people who have their
horse's hackamore actually across it's nostrils in effect cutting off the
horse's air. I've wrestled with myself about what to do, if
anything. Finally talked to a trainer about it and he advised that
the only way to help someone if IF THEY ASK FOR HELP. Then you are
free to advise. It's very frustrating when you know better and want
to help the horse.
