Yes, I live in Roseburg.  What part of Roseburg are you landing
in?  I live at the base of the coast range west of Roseburg.
Yes, also, to your question as to whether or not there are any endurance
riders here.  Have to admit that at the moment we are mostly mosey-along
riders.  I haven't competed since before my husband & I married
in '96.  However, have gone on several rides as slave (I mean, volunteer). 
Have four rides planned for 2002.  My very favorite is the Rogue Ride.
Probably the best vet is Craig Downie at Bailey Veterinary clinic. 
He used to teach at Davis.  However, at Bailey's often you get shuffled
around to other vets.  Scott Hendy at Parkway Animal Hospital might
be another to consider.  Sheryl Beckett is a mobile vet (my favorite).
As for farriers ...... depends on who you talk to as to who is best. 
My farrier has kept all my horses sound for years & years.  (Not
to mention keeping me in jokes.)
Where are you moving from?  When are you moving?  Keep
