Re: waterproof gloves
SSG's neoprene over-the-wrist riding gloves are great.  Strictly speaking,
they are not totally waterproof, but it doesn't matter.  They still keep
your hands warm even when wet.
A warning, though:  because they are skin tight, they're a pain in the a**
to get on.
