>From another point of view---I think the person giving the guarantee really
needs to know the person taking the horse on a trial, wanting a guarantee,
etc. There are situations in which a very well-trained, well-mannered
horse can come back a basket case, or with his training screwed up---and
worth quite a bit less than when he went out. I think it would be very
hard to, in good faith, guarantee a horse for a long period of time
because of the "new owner factor"--he may not be the same horse coming back
as he was going out. Just MHO. Claudia
