Re: Re: Ariat Boots

HI Carolyn,

With any sort of foot problems, why would you want to wear any kind of boot at all?  I personally find boots too stiff, hot and unyeilding.  I wear very good quality running shoes, which offer tremendous cushioning and support.  I can also get off and walk or jog in comfort, something very difficult in a boot with a heel!  I use stirups with cages, so it is safe.

Just curious.

Karen

I don't have nerve damage in my feet, but I have a very high arch and no pad to speak of on the ball of my foot, so without the super arch support and the gel pad, I would be in excruciating pain while riding.  Because of this, I will always have to wear Ariat boots, or something similar if anyone else would consider making a boot like this, even if the quality of the leather is not good or the boots wear faster.

Carolyn
