I don't mean to flame, really.    But, yes, of course
Carbo Charge does have a direct effect on a horses
performance. So do electrolytes, and a really good
meal that your horse devours at the lunch stop, so
does hyperhydrating (such as three days of super
soaked beet pulp before the ride,) so does good
conditioning and shoeing for that matter.Glycogen/
Carbo Loading is just scary to most people,(myself
included) because you have to know exactly what you're
 doing, and do it right, or else you end up in
trouble. But that's  true with all endurance protocals
to a lesser degree.
