beet pulp question

  I recall reading a thread on ridecamp about some beet-pulp
having additives for cattle, and being unsuitable for horses, 
but I can't find it in the archives.  I am thinking of starting 
my horse on beet-pulp and don't want to get the wrong kind.  
Does anyone remember what the additive for cattle was?
