Hi, I just got this alert in my e-mail and sure enough, there was the file... have no idea where it managed to get thru my virus sheild etc... but as instructed in the following info I have removed it from my files and am sending the alert to everyone who was in my address book, as I know some of these things indiscriminately send stuff out to people and leave no trace in the originating computer.... hope none of you find any thing...and who knows for sure if it's truly nasty or not... I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

Hi to anyone who is in my address book.. This was sent to me and sure enough as I followed the instructions I did in fact see the file in my computer….So don’t blow this off look and be sure you don’t have this virus.
Robin
Please see the following alert. I did find this virus file, which means you could have it because it attaches to everyone in your address book.
Check out web site that says this warning is a hoax.

Dear All
I received a virus on my computer from around the world that attaches to
your address book.
The fix is quick and easy.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Following are instructions for removing a virus that
was inadvertently passed on to you from my address book, which someone
else's address book passed on to me.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT FOLLOW AS THE VIRUS
IS SPREAD THROUGH AN ADDRESS BOOK AND, THEREFORE,
WILL NOW BE IN YOURS!
THE VIRUS LIES DORMANT FOR 14 DAYS, THEN KILLS YOUR HARD
DRIVE. PLEASE FORWARD THESE DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE IT TO EVERYONE
IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK.
1. Go to start - then to "Find" or "Search"
2. In the Search for file or folders type in
sulfnbk.exe
3. Make sure you are searching Drive C
4. Hit Search button (or find)
5. If this file shows up (it's an ugly blackish icon
that will have the
name sulfnbk.exe) DO NOT OPEN IT
6. RIGHT CLICK on the file - go down to delete and
left click.
7. Click on yes and send it to the recycle bin.
8. Go to your desktop (where all your icons are) and
double click on the
recycle bin.
9. RIGHT CLICK on sulfnbk.exe and delete again - or
empty bin.
IF YOU FIND IT, YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE IN YOUR
ADDRESS BOOK.
To do this, click on your "To" button in compose or
write and then send this
to all.
Sorry!
Wishing you all the best for the New Year
